Run 4 the Health of It – 5K at Hillside High School, Durham
Prepare to energize your spirit and body at the inaugural “Run 4 the Health of It” 5K, hosted at Hillside High School in Durham! This community race is more than a run—it's an invitation to celebrate health, wellness, and togetherness, linking up for a vibrant day filled with activities for all ages.
Join us on the starting line for a race that’s designed to motivate both seasoned runners and first-timers. Cash and gift prizes await the overall male and female winners, and the top three finishers in each age group will be honored with awards. Please note winners must be present to collect their prizes.
After the race, take time to browse and shop! Our Racers’ Village will be bustling with local businesses, including:

We’re also proud to partner with the Red Cross for a Blood Drive during the event, encouraging our community to give back in a meaningful way.
Every registered participant receives a premium dry fit T-shirt and a race bib, which entitles you to enjoy the traditional Trio and Beverage courtesy of Mr. A’s Beignets ([URL]), adding a delicious touch to your race experience. Participants can also enjoy complimentary five-minute shoulder or foot massages to refresh after the run.
After the race, we invite you and your family to stay for the 4th Annual Black Family Wellness Expo—a FREE celebration of health and joy featuring:

- Panel discussions and workshops
- Kid Zone with games, face painting, and activities
